About us
Kittelmühle GmbH is a traditional family-run milling company based in Rain am Lech, in Bavaria.
We have been carrying out special grinding operations since the late 1980s. Our customers are leading companies from the animal feed industry, the chemical industry and the pharmaceutical sector.
The Kittelmühle GmbH is now in the fifth generation. The sixth generation is now firmly integrated into the company.
History
Already in the late Middle Ages there was a grain mill with sawmill and agriculture at the site of today's mill, south of Rain. The property was probably owned by the nearby Niederschönenfeld monastery. In the course of secularization in 1802/03, the mill went into private ownership and was finally acquired by Franz Josef Mayr in 1853. Today Bernhard and Monika Mayr and their four children run the mill with attached agriculture with a lot of passion.
